Directions to our Property
The best way to get to Bowen Island is by taking BC Ferries from Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal in West Vancouver to Snug Cove Ferry Terminal on Bowen Island. You can either drive, walk or bike onto the ferry.

The Queen of Capilano ferry leaves Horseshoe Bay between 5:50am and 10:30pm (subject to change) roughly every hour. The crossing time is 20 minutes. When you travel by BC Ferries to Bowen Island, your ticket includes a return trip. When you head back to the mainland from Bowen, line up for the ferry in the marked lane along the Bowen Island Trunk Road. To plan your ferry passage, visit the BC Ferries website.

The drive to our vacation rental from Snug Cove Terminal on Bowen Island is 5 minutes, biking is 15 minutes, and walking is 25 minutes.

Once off the ferry, continue up Bowen Island Trunk Road. At the first four-way intersection, turn left onto Dorman Road at the Bowen Island Pub. Continue along Dorman Road about 1km until you get to another four-way intersection. Go straight onto Hummingbird Lane. Continue on Hummingbird Lane for 200m until you see 883 Hummingbird Lane on the left.

If you are planning to bring your bike, please be aware that Bowen Island is very hilly and not an easy ride. Just follow the driving directions above. You can also rent eBikes from Bowen eBikes in the summer months.

If you’re walking and would like to take a more scenic route, take a left onto the boardwalk (Lady Alexandra Promenade) near the Union Steamship Co. and continue along the boardwalk until you reach a trail. Continue up the Dorman Point Trail until you come to a road (Robinson Road). Turn right on Robinson Road and left on Hummingbird Lane.
